Title: Lead Tour Guide

Company: Titanic Distillers

Salary: £25k - £27.5k (depending on experience)
Reporting to: Visitor Attraction and Site Manager
Location: Titanic Pump House & Dry Dock, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, Queens Island, Belfast.

Job Description:
To support the future growth and scaling of Titanic Distillers, we are looking for an enthusiastic and charismatic lead tour guide. This is a crucial and important role within the team, you will be required to provide a first-class customer service experience, ensuring all customers leave with complete satisfaction. This will include warmly greeting the visitors to promoting our brand, providing guidance on questions and upselling products. The ability to work together as a team and have excellent communication skills are imperative.


Responsibilities:
The role will include the following responsibilities:
• Managing the Tour Guide Team
• Engage visitors on the history, distilling process and other points of interest at Titanic Distillers.
• Lead accurate, informative, and fun tours throughout the tour.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all Titanic Distillers visitors.
• Lead and partner with other tour guides and Front of House teams to generate revenues
• Work as an ambassador for Titanic Distillers and promote the sale of our products and services to our customers and all contacts.
• Facilitate whiskey tastings for individual, corporate, media and visitor groups.
• Capable of multi-tasking on busy days and be responsible for opening and closing of main visitor areas.
• Support new & ongoing training
• Support management in planning & delivering events
• Report on team performance & targets.


Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of 2 year’s face-to-face customer service.
• Previous Tour Guide experience would be very beneficial.
• Passionate about Whiskey, or a strong desire to learn about it
• Excellent interpersonal, team-working and communication skills to form working relationships with varied levels of the team, but more importantly, our customers.
• Strong integrity and ethical standards
• Must be flexible to cover other areas of work
• German, French or Spanish languages would be desirable.

Start date: 17/10/2022
Days: Rostered work over a 7-day period.
Hours: 37 hours per week

Job description:

Titanic Distillers is one of Belfast’s up and coming businesses with plans to be the first working Distillery in Belfast in 100 years.

We are looking to recruit a Business
Operations Administrator to join the team and meet our increasing demand.

This is mainly an office-based role however, you will be required to travel between two of our
sites on separate days to manage the growing demands for our products.

Main Responsibilities:

- Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts, and enter data into accounting software or databases, then file hard copies.
- Organise the schedule and paperwork for delivery of shipments
- Assist with checking goods for damage or missing items.
- Store warehouse goods in an organised manner.
- Ensure internal and external stock movements have been recorded accurately.
- Ensure all HMRC paperwork has been completed correctly, such as a Dangerous Goods Notice when moving bulk stock.
- Send and pay invoices.
- Pursue late payments.
- Reconcile company accounts.
- Maintain accurate and detailed customer records and create new customer accounts.
- Ad-hoc business admin e.g., collating DocuSign, managing business shared folders, and collation of shared documents.

Essential criteria:
• Experience working in an office environment.
• Experience in handling and transporting hazardous goods
• Excellent IT skills
• Computer literacy and a working knowledge of accounting packages and other relevant applications, such as spreadsheets
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Bookkeeping skills
• The ability to function well in a team, as you need to provide support as needed
• Minimum of 2 A ‘Levels and/or a minimum of 5 years administration experience
• Ability to deal effectively with customer/ client queries both in person and by telephone.
• Excellent work ethic and enthusiasm for the role
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn on job and to develop within the role.

Our front-of-house staff will be responsible for overseeing all operations relating to our bar, café, and gift shop.

You will be responsible for ensuring each customer receives a high-quality service and a seamless quality experience whilst visiting the Distillery.

Job Description:

The Front of house host will ensure a seamless and quality customer
experience for customers visiting the distillery. They are responsible for
greeting guests, and promptly addressing any issues that arise. We are looking
for individuals who want to make a difference in the world of hospitality and
who can really go the extra mile in their service.

Duties and responsibilities:


• Welcome and greet customers
• Multitasking various front-of-house duties, which includes working in the bar, café, and retail areas.
• Sell tickets for attractions
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are followed
• Manage customer complaints
• Foster and maintain a positive work environment
• Must be efficient in cash handling and processing credit card payments
• Work well in a team
• Good understanding of the different alcoholic beverages

• Knowledge and experience using point-of-sale systems
• Effective communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Attentive listening skills
• Must be fully flexible
• Must have the ability to coordinate and multitask

Job description:

We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join the team and meet our increasing demand.

This position will require you to travel between two of our sites on separate days to manage an increasing demand for our products.

The Warehouse Operative role is a very hands-on: Managing all functions of the warehouse operation on a day-to-day basis, including key areas such as assembly, packing and despatch, ensuring all functions are running in a safe and efficient manner.


Main Responsibilities:
• Liaising with the Finance Department to plan and maintain stock levels at adequate levels to enable schedule fulfilment.
• Picking, packing, checking and processing of all incoming and outgoing orders.
• Manage critical paths to evaluate reordering with lead time management
• Familiarity with raising purchase orders and managing budgets to maximise economies of scale
• Capture and control product and packaging inventory and storage of same.
• Plan, Manage, and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers.
• Manage deliveries and work closely with transport & logistics partners. I.E. DHL, Forwarding, IFS Transport & Royal Mail.
• An understanding of the revenue and electronic management system to book and handle alcohol in transit
• Contact with Delivery Departments of Customers to arrange Booking In of specific Deliveries.

• Coordination of co-packing such as seasonal gift packs and fulfilment.
• Event Management
• Manual handling during key periods.
• Stock Control and Stock Management within the Warehouse.
• Keeping Clear Records of all Picking Tickets, Packing Lists and Delivery Details.
• Training and supervising any additional staff where required.

Essential Criteria:
1. Great Organisational Skills and care taken to ensure accuracy for all order processing.
2. Strong communication skills; written and verbal
3. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
4. Basic IT Skills for booking on deliveries, communication, and occasional reports.
5. UK Driving licence

Desirable Criteria:
1. Experience of Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
2. License to operate forklift, tele-handler, or other equipment within a logistics operation.
