A Visit to Remember
U.S. Consul General James Applegate explores Titanic Distillers
Last week was a special one for us at Titanic Distillers as we had the pleasure of hosting James Applegate, the U.S. Consul General for Belfast and Glyn Roberts from Retail NI. Stepping away from his busy agenda, Mr. Applegate delved into the core of Belfast's first whiskey distillery in nearly 90 years.
During his visit, James enjoyed our signature tour, getting a taste of the stories of Belfast's shipyard workers, the history of Irish whiskey in Belfast, and the exciting journey that lies ahead for us.

Adding a personal touch to the visit, James had the chance to chat with our Head Distiller, Damien Rafferty and discuss the history of the site with two of our Directors, Peter Lavery and Stephen Symington, as well as it's future for Belfast.
Our Tour Guide Jonny, showing our guests the maturation process of our casks.
Under the guidance of our Tour Guide, Jonny, our guests were taken on a journey through the meticulous process of maturing spirits at Thompson Dock, creating a unique connection between tradition and innovation.
This was of course rounded off with a tasting session of our spirits collection, showcasing the different aromas and sciences happening in our spirits making process at Titanic Distillers.
It was smiles all round as our guests sampled some premium Irish spirits.
A big thank you to James for stopping by. Here's to making connections, sharing stories, and enjoying the good stuff together!
